I shall be departing Bath in 20 minutes via train (!) for London. This city is amazing! EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! I got to see Swindon, City of Tomorrow! And the coach crossed the country so fast! Madness. Dunno about internet access in The Capital, but there will probably be more internet cafes than there are here. One would hope...

Far too little time before flying home-ish! Everything will be so weird.

Two reasons for visiting Swindon:
1. It is the home turf of Thursday Next who is, yes, fictional, but ... still.
2. Mitch Benn wrote a song about it that gets stuck in my head whenever I hear the name of the town.

Well, if you're around on Sunday and you've run out of exciting London monuments to ogle, you could always audition to be Lavender Brown in Half Blood Prince.

You can't miss the queue - it's the one that stretches round most of central London and is full of Rupert Grint fangirls.

Whew, avoided that one, luckily – I flew out Sunday morning. Just on time for Security Level Critical! Whee!

Lucky you, though I reckon we spent longer in that queue than you did trying to get through airport security!

Oh, I've been to Bath.

If you can find an Internet café in Bath (and I could), I have no doubt you'll find one in London

If you have *eyes* you can find internet in London! Be sure to check out Camden while you're here and the London Eye is well worth it. Avoid the Dome though, huge waste of time. Enjoy yourself ~.^

I had eyes, but unfortunately no time. Blar! My favourite description of the Dome is 'a socking great tent full of crap' so I have been warned ... didn't actually do much in London as there are too many fabulous museums. The most I saw of Camden, unfortunately, was changing branches of the Northern Line at Camden Town tube station, which we did quite often as we were staying in Highgate.
