tealinThe transition from one home computer to another is a bit rocky and surprisingly emotional ... I've been wrapped up in that for longer than I want to think, but it looks like it'll settle down soon – at least, as soon as I figure out how to get around having a legitimate Photoshop CD but not the sleeve it came in which bore the serial number. Ngrh.
Commissions are trundling along ... I think I'm about halfway done.

From the director's notes: The IYI crew visited Alton Illinois to interview Brett Stawar, executive director of the Alton Regional Convention and Tourism Bureau. Alejandro Cruz, the videographer, had technical difficulties with his wireless mic set, and couldn't capture any of Aileesha Breedlove's interview questions. This is what we did to salvage the segment. Ryan Wiggins wrote approximately 90% of the lyrics based on rough edits, and performed the resulting vocal arrangement. ... The entire project took about 4 hours from conception to completion.

Date: 2007-09-07 04:41 pm (UTC)I am FROM this area- so amazing to see all the old stamping grounds and they are getting into this type of tourism. Not sure why it makes people cry, though. Too many wild onions along the road?
The River Road, by the way, has a great bike trail you can take that goes through some interesting areas, including an image of the area's official monster, the Piasa Bird (based on a Native American legend).
