Adventures in Singleton (Part 1)

So...*
I've finally moved into my apartment enough to have my computer up. That took, what, two days? Two and a half if you count the day of moving. Of course, for now I have to ferry things back and forth from work on a li'l ol' floppy disk, until I can bribe Shaw into giving me Intarwebs at home.** There is food in the pantry and sheets on my bed so really, what else do I need? Hmm, might be useful to get the clothes out of my suitcases ... and another bookshelf would be dandy.
I'm celebrating by finally cracking open the Azkaban book-on-CD I got for Christmas. After the initial 'Yeep! Stephen Fry is in my living room!' it's pretty darn good. Significantly better than Jim Dale's. I'm sure I'll get a hundred comments from adamant Jim Dale fans but I cannot stand his reading of the books.
Anyway, a big big THANK YOU to everyone who helped move me in – you all ran away before I could feed you so I'll have you all over for pizza and movies when everything's all put away and stuff. Fun times will be had by all. Yeah. Dream On, Silly Dreamer, anyone? Heh heh heh, how to squash the soul of a budding animator. Le sigh.
I am disconnected and rambly. Time to save to disk.
*It would be interesting to count what proportion of LiveJournal entries start with an arbitrary 'so' ... seconded, probably, by 'well.'
**For very nearly the sole purpose of being able to listen to Radio 4 at home ... all the time . HELP I AM A RADIO NERD HELP HELP.
