Centenary Fever!
May. 28th, 2010 08:55 pmRemember back when I went to New York and there was that exhibit at the Natural History Museum about some American polar explorer who flew over both poles, one with Amundsen, and all the Amundsen stuff was mysteriously missing from the exhibit?
Well ... now I know where it went.
The American Museum of Natural History presents: Race to the End of the Earth
AMNH, you may have lost the battle of default coolness to the Natural History Museum in London, but DANG this looks AWESOME. I am totally going. I don't know when, yet, but at some point in the timestream I am THERE.
It was distinctly odd to visit the LA Times website and see Scott's picture without having sought it out.
Well ... now I know where it went.
