Stargazing
Oct. 26th, 2013 06:40 pmWhen I was up in BC I accidentally left my sketchbook at my cousins', and then I was moving and starting a new job, so I've fallen really dreadfully behind on Inktober, such as it was. But I finished something last night:

I love drinking in the night sky at said cousins', so my last night there I spent about an hour lying out in the orchard, lost in the vastness of space, wondering if there were any bears around, and listening to pears fall. Miraculously I caught the fastest, longest meteor I've ever seen, streaking east to west across the patch of sky between the firs; the symbolism in regards to Jack London and E.T.W. was not lost on anyone.
I worry sometimes that my life is becoming entirely fictional. If so, I have some serious questions for the author.
