Reversing the Polarity
Jan. 18th, 2014 07:34 pmI had noble intents ... I wanted to reward people who stuck with this blog by posting art here before Tumblr. But I have to upload images to Photobucket to post them here, whereas I can upload them straight to Tumblr, so it's just more efficient to use Tumblr as the image hosting service.
I still consider this my main blog, though, and the long rambly thinking-too-much posts will happen here as long as I have time to write them.
The week before last I had an unexpected day off, so spent it with my sister up in Oakland. We went to Lake Merritt, which has a large and visible avian population. Black-crowned Night Herons have a hoodie hunch about them and spend most of the day loitering. Lake Merritt is crawling with these delinquents. One of them looked for all the world like he was holding up the little old lady going through her purse a few feet away; someday I will get that down on paper.
