Wow! Mimicking Making Money is right!

Am I allowed to be irritated that the paper refers to Trouble as a "bitch," then the caption under the photo refers to Trouble as an "it?" I mean, if Trouble is a bitch then she's female, not an "it."

I think they just wanted to say 'bitch' on the BBC website and get away with it. :)

Yeah, that's kind of the impression I got, seeing as how it was said in the second paragraph. X3

I suspect that, should Mr. Pratchett discover this, he would be laughing his ass off. :D

I hope, if he hasn't discovered this himself yet (it is on the BBC website), he'll be receiving hundreds of copies of it in the mail.

I wonder if he was notified every time there was a story about a postman filling his house with undelivered letters... that seems to have happened a lot in the past few years ...

I didn't even know Hemsley was dead.

While I know that it's the proper term for a female dog, it still amuses me that they refer to what is obviously a spoiled, yappy thing as a 'tiny bitch'.

How great! Life follows art. It is just great timing. I know there have been several animal heirs in the past but it is funny when it comes right at the time Making Money came out.

I know I have had some coincidences as well. I wound up getting my Christian Science Monitor with a recipe for toffee pudding (yuck) while reading Making Money, and the sheep head thing with the sun glasses is very Icelandic. I have to check out this restaurant that sells sheep heads in Reykjavik- I think they have been using cartoons showing boiled sheep's head with sunglasses last year.
