There there. *pat pat* I'm sure the misunderstanding and "seriousness" of the situation shall pass in time.

Question on a theory. Was Willikins an Assasins Guild wannabe but just didn't hold the suavity? It's been prickling my braincells for some time now. He's just sometimes a little TOO good.

I get the impression he didn't have the 'breeding' -- he was a member of a street gang and started at the Ramkin household as the scullery boy so he was definitely lower class. The Assassins Guild takes the occasional scholarship boy but would they look that low? Or would he even have had the opportunity to apply? Perhaps the Ramkins sent their curiously competent scullery boy to the Guild in exchange for his future services as butler-cum-bodyguard. A mystery! That had never even occurred to me before, thanks for something to chew on.
