Of all the ways to see Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, the best has got to be as the clock is ticking down to its disappearance from the Free Intarweb, in a small room full of friends, who are actually singing along.

I really want the soundtrack. I would totally belt it when I'm home alone.

Knowing this set, it's entirely possible.

(Though, according to some, it's already happened.)

I can't wait to get the soundtrack...There are some pretty rocking tunes in Dr. Horrible.

(On a related note, I have to thank you for suggesting we watch it. I'd heard a few other people talking about it, but didn't really feel like I should check it out until you posted the picture of Dr. Horrible and I figured I might as well give it a shot. Now I'm in love. Hurray!)

Beats me why they didn't release the album concurrently on iTunes ... they should have known people would be desperate for it and the lack of a readily available one will turn the resourceful ones to piracy. Heck, I could pirate it very easily if I wanted to and if I wanted to listen to just the songs when I could listen to the whole thing...

I love it when something I approach with trepidation turns out to be awesome, so I'm glad I passed on a similar experience to you!

Group sing-alongs. *sigh* Makes me wish I had friends. Or at least friends who live within reasonable traveling distance.

I've been good today. I've only watched it twice. And then a couple more times skipping through for the songs. But the whistling, humming and quiet tone-deaf singing fill in the times between.

I feel the need now for some Horrible icons...

Thank you for this. You have proved I am not alone in the world. That has been my whole last week, but I am proud to say that today is my first Dr. Horrible-free day since Act I's release and I have survived intact without attacking anyone or even getting the shakes very much. Granted, this is because the computer I downloaded them on is at home and I was at work. Tomorrow ... tomorrow might be another matter.

OMG ICONS YES. (what strange culture is this where our love of something must be immediately expressed by cutting it up into 100x100px images?)

Didn't do so well at the resisting today. I think I've watched part 3 at least 4 times so far. But then again it's been a really lousy day and I've needed lots of cheering so I thought, "Why not make today absolutely Horrible?" :)

Man, there is nothing like some fine grade catharsis when life has turned up the suck (or even when it hasn't.) Mmm-mmm.

One of these days ... one of these days ... I will learn that restraint in such things is actually no fun at all and serves no discernible purpose but can actually, in effect, distance oneself from the delight of obsession; while this is probably better for all-around mental health it is no fun at all.

Luckily I am working hard to get back to where I was. :D

It's $4 on iTunes. FOUR DOLLARS. That's less than an average lunch, a comic, or a rental, it's half of a matinee, a third of a CD, a quarter of a DVD, your money rewards makers of pure quality entertainment, and it's YOURS FOREVER. I fail to see any way in which this is not awesome.

It cost me 99 cents for a Colbert Report episode featuring RUSH which is twice as long as one Dr Horrible episode..?

Hey - wait. For all of them? Well, if it's for all of them...

(why am I laughing... malevolently?)

Then that's a good deal. Right on. Thanks.
