I don't even think I would mind working weekends, even attached to full-on weeks, where you work, but... Well, I guess any job can get old after a while. (No! It isn't true! I can't believe that job could ever get old!)

That's awesome, though. Congrats on not having to work weekends. That's the number one reason why I'm terrified to get another retail job. Working weekends suckssss.

I was happy to come in weekends, it is true (after all, it's not like I have anything else to do except avoid working with flannel), but after working six years in jobs where 12-hour days and weekends were expected (admittedly not all the time, but even so) it's ... luxurious. It's almost like not even working in animation at all.

This is dangerous, you know ... now that there's nothing keeping me out of trouble nights and weekends there's no telling what sort of foul misdeeds I may perpetrate.

For someone who has the excuse of being involved with the industry, I watch surprisingly few movies (though the ones I do watch I tend to watch over and over again). Chances are it'll be spent chatting and endlessly refreshing my f-list, as most of my free time tends to be...

Man, you're lucky! Considering your line of work I wouldn't mind that much working on weekends but still, having 2 days to do leisure activities is something to be treasured (being freelance has its downsides...)
