Lackadasical ... spelled somehow
Feb. 17th, 2005 07:19 pmI may be crying wolf again, but I suspect that this time I am really coming down with plague. Plague 2005, that is. The extreme head cold symptoms are not really showing yet but if the immense, overpowering lethargy and decreased brain function are any indicators (as well as the dream about an alien invasion last night) then... I am doomed.
Hmm, this might be a good time to scan my sketchbook.
Is it possible to overdose on Vitamin C? I think I've had about 3000mg today. (I guess that would be 3g ... put that way it doesn't sound like an overdose at all!) it helps that I have a bottle of very very yummy chewable tablets on my desk at work... Not only are they delicious in that they taste of various fruits, but there's the rush one gets when one's tongue recognizes the ascorbic acid and says "Why, how did you know this was exactly what I needed?"

My horoscope, according to The Onion:

To get to choir, either I have to take the bus that gets there 45 minutes early or take the bus that goes only as far as the bus loop and then wait for half an hour in the cold dark for another bus to come take me the rest of the way. So I spent a while in the cafeteria.... (Just for the record, eating a scone with raisins in it is its own penance. Bleh.)

I was completely devoid of ideas for tonight so I asked Ubiquitouspitt ... she reminded me of the Stephen and Blakeney Presenting The Orc Offspring to the King idea, and ... well. It didn't work out exactly as planned. My brain isn't quite up to staging anything at the moment. Also you should know that this is another shameful instance of not using any reference whatsoever, hence the not-quite-caricature of Blakeney's face and totally, TOTALLY not-accurate costume.
Then there's a detail of my bag, including the plastic soup spoon. You never know when you'll need a spoon. And my fountain pen (not Inky) which is an unpredictable little beast sometimes.

After mistaking you for a new model of a full-size pickup, Car And Driver will deride your lack of legroom, but praise the way you "barely sip" gasoline.
