Maybe the radio play will be good incentive for me to FINALLY read the books.

Haha, I had the exact same thought when typing it out. :)

I love the first radio play but it hasn't gotten me to read the book yet, possibly because I'm afraid it'll ruin the radio play. Maybe someday, if I ever have any real time to read again.

Ahhhh, Dirk Gently... you know, now that I think about it, that was some of the first real fan-art I ever did. I was studying graphic design at the local university, and reading the book while slogging through a really tough "Drawing for Graphic Design" class, so, I ended up doodling pics from the story in the margins of my sketches for the class. So... the teacher got annoyed, and set us an assignment doing a set of illustrations from our favorite books, yada, yada, yada, and I did several of Dirk with his big mustaches and bald head, glasses, and tie flipping up over his shoulder. It was a lot of fun!

Hmmm... guess I better go digging through my portfolios, too... because I had this really funny set of... okay, now I can't remember her name, but she was trying to have a pizza delivered to her flat... and then the guy who was a truck driver AND a weather god...

Okay, that's it, I need to go find my copy of that book and read it again!!
