My sister and I decided to Get Out and went to Santa Barbara on Monday. It was lovely! Absolutely lovely. Click the picture for vacation snaps! (I promise I'll post something more interesting, um ... soon ...)
But the train doesn't go to Santa Ynez! :) I've seen pictures, though, and it does look gorgeous. I think our next trip is going to be to San Luis Obispo, on a day we can take our bikes. But who knows how far off that'll be, with crunch time and only one long weekend before animation's set to finish... The Sibling wants to go for a drive in Ventura County so with any luck we'll end up in Ojai before too long.
When you get there, you can say O Hai! and everyone will LOL.
Flickr has a little thingy on their landing page for subscribers and at the top they "say" hello in any number of different languages. For example, it will say "Selamat stengah hari Noodledaddy" at the top of the page followed by "That's how to say good afternnon in Malay" On Wednesday, my landing page read "O Hai Noodledaddy! That's how to say hello in LOLspeak."
I wish! Frankly, if we did go back, it would be a few days in Singapore, then a couple weeks in Malaysia on an island off the coast of Johore. Banyak suka hati, LAH!
