Big company meeting yesterday = good chance to caricature. I thought. Only most of the people I could see were from the back, so it was pretty much the same as dailies. Oh well.

Andrew Millstein, Nathan Greno, Dan Read, Ed Catmull, and the back of Russ Edmonds' head. And a couple others I didn't finish.

I'm not much good at them, and they've been caricatured so many times already, all I see in my head is everyone else's artwork.

Heh. When I decide to start doodling people in class, they're always from the back, so I usually get bored quickly (and just draw the teacher instead >_>). And then, when I'm home alone or something, and decide to draw someone from the back, or need to for some picture or other, I can never remember what anyone looks like. You'd THINK it would be easy - just a mass of hair and the back of a shirt, right? And yet it isn't. D: The ears in particular are annoying, I can never get those.

Nice caricatures, however. ^_^

Umm... in a land far from job titles, here it is to the best of my knowledge:

Andrew Millstein is the boss when John and Ed aren't around.

Nathan Greno was head of story on Bolt and one of the directors on Rapunzel.

Dan Read ... I didn't know what he did, I just knew him from the message boards and the Caffeine Patch, but I was surprised to discover his work in The Art of Bolt so I guess he's a vis dev guy.

Ed Catmull is a GENIUS. But you know him already.

Russ Edmonds is animating on Frog; you may recognize his work supervising such characters as Phoebus, Philippe, and the demolition guy in Atlantis.

OK Andrew Millstein sounded familiar i read(bought) the Pixar Story book.

(i still haven't seen bolt IM SO BAD)

ED CATMULL CREATED EVERYTHING EVER.

OH you mean the guy who doesn't do badly with good looking men? (i'm talking bout you john smith. You freak me out. Though nothing is as bad as Poco's LUNGE OF FATE at the end which totally is at a weird angle @_@ )

I'm taking over your page again, haha. WOULD THEY RATHER see a couple of model packs with similar styles or just random chars IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO other than chars from Tammy's story. And what is your take on my tiny feet?

Uh ... John Smith was animated by John Pomeroy (I am a little confused?). All Russ Edmonds' characters remind me of Phoebus but this may be because Phoebus was the first character I associated with him.

I don't know ... a little variety of styles and subject matter might not be too amiss. If you can't think of other original characters, maybe grab some from some books you're read? I don't think they're interested in seeing model packs as much as ideas and style and diversity. They don't really do model packs here.

LOL!

Well, most of them are at least fifteen years older than me and spend all their time hunched over their desks in the dark ... and pretty people are hard to caricature.

But have you seen Byron Howard (http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/086O7E19Aw4hu/610x.jpg)? There's a face for the soaps, all right. :)

"...spend all their time hunched over their desks in the dark."

See, I understand why.
