Gosh, I love Saturdays, don't you? I enjoyed mine so much I plum(b?) forgot to post a drawing.

The colour looked much nicer on my monitor than the printout ... oh well.

I have been drawing, I've even been drawing things that aren't frames of animation, but all the ideas I have are Frog-related so I can't post them till November.

Who doesn't love Saturdays? I can't blame you.

My favorite thing abot this is all of the gorgeous detail on the books and papers. It looks just right. The table is very pretty too.

*happy dance*

*click* new wallpaper has been installed.

Hm, where to beginn with the love? Tons of it certainly goes towards the crooked little tower of books (and all the bookmarks sticking from them). I alsoe love how she uses the books as an armrest and the lighting and... yeah, great character drawing.

Then again, my favourite character drawn by my favourite "fanartist" does go a long way in making my squee.

she uses the books as an armrest

This may or may not be because after drawing the pose I realized her elbow would not be able to reach the table. :D

Art = creative problem-solving to compensate for one's stupidity.

P.S. If you'd like a higher resolution, email me your screen dimensions and I will provide. :)

For some reason I just love those sticky-notes, and the shadows they cast. And the colour choices everywhere work so well. I'm just learning how to colour my drawings on Photoshop, so this is pretty impressive to me! Do you use Photoshop or Painter?

I used OpenCanvas to paint the background and Photoshop for Hermione and her table. As long as you keep the image dimensions the same, you can export a bitmap from OC, copy/paste it into your Photoshop file, and it should register perfectly.

I think I've told you this before, (but you probably didn't know it was me since I don't have an LJ account) but I've always loved how you draw HP robes and how happy I am to not see those ugly movie ties and gray sweaters. The details on the books and table are great too. The only comment I'd have is that it seems cut off at the bottom for the amount of empty space there is at the top.

Some of the books are defying gravity. But it's Hogwarts, so it's all good. After all, it didn't strike me as odd that the candles were also defying gravity...
