Doyle had so many fine lines about art and talent.

You had a great quote on your journal (AGES AGO), about how children's books are so much better than adults' because they are about every important theme...
Do you remember what it was, I can't find it anymore...

Ooooh I can help. Here we are:

"Fairy Tales are blamed for teaching children that there are such things as monsters. Children already know that there are monsters. What Fairy Tales really teach is that monsters can be killed."- GK Chesteron

I ... don't remember. It was probably an article from Quill and Quire, from 2006 or earlier; I know someone wrote about YA lit and why it can be better than 'adult' books but I don't think it mentioned anything about 'every important theme.'

I'm gonna look for it again then... I'm not sure about the "every important theme" part... maybe I made that up after all this time.
Can you imagine it was before I started to talk to Disneyboy, and that was more than 2 years ago already !!

I like that story. It's funny, but you know the Builder's scheme would never work today, because they'd be able to tell the bones in the fire weren't human right away.
