I resized them down a leetle to save excess loading time (if you want full-res you can download your own trailer!) and fiddled with the contrast and saturation (though I may be thrown off by monitor calibration). There are a couple of image banks where you can find practically any screencap you want (this one is useful...) so I'm not going to waste waking hours clutter up my LJ with redundant images. I'm only putting up ones about which I have something to say that might be of interest, or which I particularly like but you might miss when watching the trailer at speed.

In absolutely no order whatsoever:

So pretty.

SO MANY HAPPY ANIMALS.

How do they make dirty stagnant water look so pretty?

The shadows are SO FREAKING AWESOME YOU GUYS.

The obligatory A113 reference (it was the classroom number for character animation at CalArts back in the day) ... what amuses me is not so much its presence but the fact that there is at least one vehicle in this movie that does NOT have A113 on it.

A few of the masks are caricatures of crew members, but they mostly got hidden when the layering got done.

A subtle thing, but extremely cool: look at the pattern on the curtain. Do you see it? Look harder.

Katie, this one is for you:

I solemnly swear on all that is holy that I had nothing to do with this. I was hoping against hope that they'd colour his hair dark so it would be plainer. I'm glad this shot was in the trailer because otherwise I'd have had to wait almost two years from when I originally saw it, when it comes out on DVD, to show you.

There are many awesome things about Dr Facilier but one of my favourites is how rewarding it is to stop-frame his scenes.

OH YEAH BABY. (In case you're wondering, the masking got a little messed up but it'll be fixed in the final film)

Those opossums look exactly as they should, like they're going "hur hur!"
I'm gonna add my stats to the record: yeah, I've been following your art for, um, probably close to 9 years... So, from Harry Potter, to Terry Pratchett, and then to see right there! Up above! OMG! your drawing in A DISNEY FLIPPIN' MOVIE is... like... awesome. Even an art-appreciator's dream come true for one of their favorite artists.

The score is 4 to 2

That is the number of clearly left-handed reporters to the number of clearly right-handed reporters in the shot with Naveen coming off the ship.

I am also so excited for this movie, you don't even know.

And your drawings most excellent.

And my fiance, from New Orleans is VERY pleased that the street cars are green. (There is some current thing? Where some are red? I have no idea. Excited!)

San Francisco has a trolley line where they have old streetcars from various cities, and when I went there I got to ride one of the old green ones from the movie New Orleans! It was both awesome and surreal.

My uncle was one of the people responsible for bringing street trolleys back as public transport. I remember him talking about a project to bring all these refurbished vintage trolley cars into use across the country. I can imagine him quite giddy at the authenticity!
