7:58 pm - A Hypothetical Question
If you were an upper-middle-class English woman who finds herself in the midst of the Revolution in Paris because your husband is an emigrant French aristocrat held in prison and awaiting "trial" ...
Would you go walking around the streets in a velvet cape with fur trim?
11:27 pm - Catching Up
Monday was life drawing, which I may scan on the marvelous extremely zippy scanner at work, if I get in super early. But for now we skip it.

This was the only thing I drew Tuesday... trying Isadora Quagmire without any sort of reference from either version of her two siblings.

Picking on random, helpless people at choir...
I was a lazy, lazy bum on Thursday. Rather - I spent the evening cleaning and on a long-distance phone call and by the time it was all done I used that as an excuse not to draw anything.

Trying Lady Amber from Mossflower - without any sort of reference at all. This is a bad thing. I need to go to the library and look up a bunch of animal books. Also, I need to learn to make the characters look passably OK in a position other than profile...

More Lady Amber, and some random choir people... We had an extra rehearsal today, which was OK because there were treats. We throw party streamers at the end of one of the songs, which you can see the lady rolling up there. I am horribly inept at throwing party streamers, I found, so I took one home to practise. Because Carmina Burana has a large number of male choruses, the tenors and basses had to stay later to rehearse their bits, and since my rommate is the only female tenor in the group, I stayed late as well, which gave me an excellent opportinuty to draw guys whose attention was focused elsewhere.
And another thing: the one surefire cure for Plague2005 is to announce to everyone that you're coming down with it.

Well, certainly quite a few upper class women did, but they never made it to chapter 2 ;)
