Unaccountably Giddy
Mar. 7th, 2005 12:47 pmI have been in an uncommonly chipper mood since this morning... am I going postal? (ahahaha) This is even despite the fact that "my" computer at work (the communal one which was used for odd jobs by people who didn't have a computer) which I DIDN'T JUST USE FOR EMAIL!!! has been taken over by someone who's using it all the time. If I ever want to comp a layout (technical jargon for a part of the layout process on this show) I have to go find someone else's comupter and ... take it over for a while, I guess. Stinky.
The library doesn't have a scanner. At least ... not connected to any comupter I can use.
10:04 pm

I didn't have anything to do at work first thing this morning (it happens sometimes) so I figured I might as well warm up my hand and get out some of the Going Postal hokey pokey bouncing around my head. Miss Dearheart looks a lot like someone else I've drawn but I can't remember who, and Vetinari, well... I had never pictured him with a beard before this book, for some reason, and when you say "well-trimmed pointy beard" about an oddly charming person who ought to be a villain... you get Tim Curry. Um. I really don't have a Tim Curry fixation, I promise.
The thumbnails are for the scene where Vetinari is taking Mr. Lipwig back to the Palace(? - I don't remember!) ... I saw this character moment rather clearly and it amused me.
Even though I went to life drawing tonight, I might draw yet another page. What is UP with me? Geez, you give a girl some fiction...
