I don't really like Paul Kidby's Angua so I tried one of my own, based largely on a friend of mine from high school who had quite wolfish eyes. I hope she looks at least a little like the one that's on my site. I haven't checked. There is also a Vimes because SO many people ask me to draw him: this is why I do not draw him. Okay, to be fair, this one is a lot better than most of my other attempts, but AAAH! Not Vimes!
Oh yeah, and there's a bus guy. Just as filler.

More finagling with thumbnails for the Lipwig/Vetinari Coach Scene ... I think I've finally gotten Moist's position right. Even though I'm not planning on drawing the whole thing all the way down to their feet, I wanted to nail down the poses because they do affect the rest of the body.
Then I picked on the conductor instead of random choir members tonight. He's a great conductor... unfortunately that doesn't really come across in stil drawings, what with the timing and motion and all. Oh well.

Listening to Jesus Christ Superstar at work. Groovy, man.

I like this new Angua better than the old one. Just one thing (I'm not actually trying to be annoying; it comes naturally): in MaA, it says that "no helmet could ever fit over that mass of hair." Well, I suppose if the helmets are very close-fitting, just hair would do for that...but my inner picky-picky had to mention it. I like Vimes.

The third choral director to the right- is he preparing you (or a section) to sing? He has that breathing-in-expectantly look. And in the first on the left, is he just looking at the music or is he annoyed that a section isn't singing properly? (just out of curiosity.)

Gosh, I love your art.

I do like Paul Kidby, but sometimes his art conflicts with what I believe. xD; I rather like your versions better, especially Vimes. *tiny squee*

Somehow the poses of the conducters really really appeal to me. Kudos! Love it.

Dubula dubula dubula dubula dubulaaaa...

Hi, long time lurker/big fan of your art here. But it wasn't your art that made me remove myself from the shadows...it's your music for today! I'm in a choir that actually sang that recently! Is your choir singing that? If so...are you guys doing the dance too? I can't imagine it without the dance, although don't make it look like you're shooting a gun in the air. That's a no no. (I am an alto, so we don't have the most exciting part, but it's still fun to see the audience's reaction, especially if they aren't used to African music.)

In any case, still in love with your art. Keep up the awesome work!

I love your Angua. She looks very sleek and posh and in control, which is how I always pictured her to be. And I knew it was Vimes right away, so something about him screams Vimes to people XD Love it!
