The Bare Minimum

I don't really like Paul Kidby's Angua so I tried one of my own, based largely on a friend of mine from high school who had quite wolfish eyes. I hope she looks at least a little like the one that's on my site. I haven't checked. There is also a Vimes because SO many people ask me to draw him: this is why I do not draw him. Okay, to be fair, this one is a lot better than most of my other attempts, but AAAH! Not Vimes!
Oh yeah, and there's a bus guy. Just as filler.

More finagling with thumbnails for the Lipwig/Vetinari Coach Scene ... I think I've finally gotten Moist's position right. Even though I'm not planning on drawing the whole thing all the way down to their feet, I wanted to nail down the poses because they do affect the rest of the body.
Then I picked on the conductor instead of random choir members tonight. He's a great conductor... unfortunately that doesn't really come across in stil drawings, what with the timing and motion and all. Oh well.
Listening to Jesus Christ Superstar at work. Groovy, man.

And in the first on the left, is he just looking at the music or is he annoyed that a section isn't singing properly? (just out of curiosity.)

Date: 2005-03-11 02:08 am (UTC)I do like Paul Kidby, but sometimes his art conflicts with what I believe. xD; I rather like your versions better, especially Vimes. *tiny squee*
Somehow the poses of the conducters really really appeal to me. Kudos! Love it.
Dubula dubula dubula dubula dubulaaaa...
