I've been waiting four years for them to rerun this series.
The National Theatre of Brent presents
~The Arts and How They Was Done~
THE TAJ MAHAL AND HOW IT WAS DONE
Oddly, the other series in this, er, series, specifically the Shakespeare one, put me to sleep, but this series is great, and this episode in particular fantastic. They do twist the history a bit but it's more about the entertainment than education. What I find most interesting is how they can bumble their way along, constantly breaking suspension of disbelief, and being utterly ridiculous, but at the same time get real moments of poignant beauty. It's a gift! (Or maybe it's just me.)
