Blasphemy!
Apr. 19th, 2005 01:52 pmYou know what's really freaky? Disney's marketing campaign for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland, with its CG versions of traditionally animated characters. That's freaky. I mean, if you're going to make these established characters 3D, at least make a good model and light it well and use a decent shader. A little prudence in the animation might not go amiss either. And for the transit ads: can't you just get someone to draw it and then horribly over-render it to look 3D, like they have with all recent posters and DVD covers? At least then the pose might have a little life!

I should run away before Disney ninjas can swoop down and carry me off.
