Combeferre visits again

Much to my surprise, though not to my displeasure, Carl Prekopp turned up long before I expected (about halfway through Omnibus 2). I know his Combeferre is an amalgam of a few different original Amis, but that doesn't mean I can't really appreciate the adapting writer's choices.
I'd also forgotten how much this episode makes me want a glass of wine. The power of suggestion!
