i love it... as i love ALL your stuff. I think i may have you to thank for getting me hooked on Discworld. After visiting your Harry Potter fanart site a million and one years ago, i stumbled on your Terra Extra Harry Potter. *bows humbly in thanks*
I can't wait for the 25th! My lilacs won't be quite as numerous as Reg's, though. You make me want to color something sooo much ... but I'm at school, and they don't look too kindly upon that sort of thing here.
Do they look kindly on students parading about the school festooned with blossoms, singing a bawdy song about angels rising up, and openly endorsing Truth, Justice, Freedom, Reasonably Priced Love, and a Hard Boiled Egg?
They'd better. I'm going to either way, and I've persuaded my friend Sarah to read it, too. Maybe she'll join me in parading. It's the last full day of school for me, so maybe the administrative staff will permit a little post-exam stress relief. I wish I could put a tune to the angel song, so I'll have something to actaully SING rather than recite.
Look it up... I'm sure someone's set it to music. Or maybe it exists already. Goodness knows there are roughly 14 billion verses to the Hedgehog Song by now...
I adore Reg almost as much as I do Otto Chriek, who is truly the love of my life. (!?)
But I really do like how you made him look . . . well, undead here. xD; And the scarf thing (dare I say 'cravat'?*) is magnificent.
*I live in fear of reenactors swooping down on me and furiously going, "THAT IS NOT A STOCKING BUT MERELY A VERY FRILLY AND HIGH SOCK AND YOU MISPRONOUNCED THE WORD 'CORSET', YOU IMBECILE."
(See? I am doing footnotes now and it is all your fault.)
I don't know if it's technically a cravat, it's just a ... neck ... scarf ... thingy. Everybody was wearin' 'em. In olden days.* Neckerchief? Useful thing. Keeps your neck warm in the winter and cool in the summer if you damp it down, and hides the stitches if you're living-impaired with past head-attachment issues. And everyone ... everyone looks better in a cravat (or neckcloth of your choice). That's just the way it is.
Silly, everyone knows it's pronounced cor-SAAAY... 'S like ... French.
True that! And it sort of extends your neck length if you have an unsightly short one, and helps disguise those unappealingly obvious double and triple chins.*
Nay, 'tis corSET! *looks around nervously*
*Of course if you have more than that, you might as well invest in a shawl as a wrap instead, because by then your chins usually roll into the rest of you.
i. love. you. Your art is awesome like whoa and I have been eye-stalking your work since the days of your high school harry potter fan art. *much worshipping*
