Things are alive and people are appreciating them! The air is clean, the people soft-spoken, the crows smart, and the sushi amazing.







I love how black the water is.


I smelled these woodchips before I saw them. My nose has been overreacting to air moist enough to smell again; I've been hallucinating impossible smells since I got here. Onions sautéeing at 6am? Why not! I can smell everything!

I didn't know the moisture in the air affected how well you could smell, though I'm not too surprised.
