Or, Adcembers
Returning from Utah, my flight was literally about to touch down when fog swept over Oakland and diverted us to San Jose. This was the placeholder image on the screens at a gate near ours ... Full points for smugness.
What? No no no, the swivelling spinning tripod surveillance bot which keeps unwavering vigilance over the security queue at SJC isn't remotely sinister.
Look at all those AWESOME people at Dr Pinch's Holiday Spectacular.
My parents are visiting for the holidays so we went on a road trip to Monterey.
Brewer's blackbirds, all in a line
The Los Pinos lighthouse is pretty cool if you get a chance to visit. Sadly the hibernating monarchs weren't much in evidence at Pacific Grove, probably victims of the cold snap a few weeks ago.
One of the many nice things about my new workplace is its view of winter sunsets, at least when the shades are up.
