Great big steaming Sketchdump
Jan. 25th, 2014 11:20 amSo I went looking for a sketchbook picture from last year and realised I've hardly posted any of my sketchbook stuff here in ages, unless I just haven't tagged it. So I'm starting a new 'sketchbook' tag and with its inaugural post* you can catch up on several months' worth of picking on strangers.
Where I had this song stuck in my head ALL DAY. I thought I could suck it out of my brain through my pencil but no, stuck for hours, and it's such a short song too.

London is, in my experience, the best city for sketching people – so many different types, and everyone seems to wear their character on their sleeve. I have a lot more sketches from that UK trip but they're all ships and Antarctic props, and I didn't get around to scanning them before the sketchbook got packed up for storage. I might have scanned the Cambridge stuff, though.

*One of these days when I'm procrastinating I'll go back and retroactively tag sketchbook posts, but that day is not today.

Date: 2014-01-26 06:42 am (UTC)London pigeons are the BEST. By which I mean, look most likely to be able to kill you by sheer force of will – or parasites, if that fails.
I'm also pretty sure none of them has all its toes.
