Cabin Pressure Advent: Xinzhou

Xinzhou is an episode close to my heart. When I first heard it I didn't think much of it (not that it was bad, just unremarkable) but when Radio 4 reran it in the spring of 2014 I clued into listening from Douglas' point of view, realised how completely fabulous it was. That kicked off several weeks of serious Cabin Pressure addiction, which got me through the thick of Duet and showed my depression the door.

So, long live Xinzhou, and long live Cabin Pressure! I'm going into spoiler lockdown mode now ...

Xinzhou is actually one of my favourite episodes. It's a quiet little thing, but it's so nice seeing how well the MJN crew get on with each other, and that as much as they joke and tease, they genuinely care.

I love Martin's hat knocked up. It looks like they're having a lot of fun -- or I can see why Arthur would assume so.

I was actually going to say the same thing! And the silly games they come up with and Arthur being just so.... *Arthur* in this. Also FizzBuzz!! And the whole "Here I am, don't tread on me" thing. It basically meant now when ever I see the phrase "here I am" I automatically tag on "don't tread on me" at the back. Like when someone type SPAG for spelling & grammar, my brain just goes SPAG(bol) and think food. :P

And I admit having a soft spot for this and the next ep because I was at the recording. :P

Love the snowball fight here! Though would've also love to see the 6-foot snowman... heeee!
