Another Midsummer Dream

I spent all day yesterday collecting incidents of The Big Storm from various sources, writing them out and cutting out the slips of paper, and arranging the slips to get the best possible dramatic arc out of the episode. All day I'd been swept up in this mighty tempest and coming at it both imaginatively and analytically. Surely, surely, that kind of immersion and hard mental grind would turn up in my dreamscape, given dreams are quite often the result of what you've been learning in a day.

I dreamed about explaining the anatomy of the Terra Nova to someone.

Well, yes, I guess I learned about that, too.

(Sigh.)

Recommendation: if you haven't, check (the notes I sent you on) Davies' account for the **oh crap that thing happened during the storm and almost killed me** moment so dramatic that I think PolarNarrator will be there with him ... you're using Cherry's POV of course, but the imagery alone is likely useful IMHO. :)

It's an amazing moment, but I don't know quite where I'd wedge it in ... Cherry's POV in the storm isn't too exciting as he's mainly baling (and v. v. seasick) but I've got enough other people to flesh it out a bit. He has straightened me out in who helped cut the hole, though – somewhere I'd got the impression it was him and Williams, but it being him and Lashly actually helps me out a lot more as it gives me a chance to establish Lashly!
