The credit union got back in touch today. I talked with someone who seemed to be on the ball. The specified corrections had been made to my form. We caught that my Canadian bank's address ought to be in Canada and not the UK.

The money should get there by December 4th.

It takes.... 2 weeks?! Or close to it.

I honestly don't know what to say to that. Its all just so.... 80s. Honestly, it took 3 days for my parents to send me money from Malaysia to Australia in the late 90s when I was studying over there, and Malaysia is STILL a developing nation, not a supposedly First World Country. Jeez. The more I learn about America, the less I believe that its actually a developed nation.

Hmm... seems like I'm snobbing America. LOL!

Just over a week – it sent Friday and will be available a week Tuesday.

I honestly think they could send it faster, they just hold on to it for a little while to ping it around overnight loans and day trading to get as much money off it as they can ... which is very American. (And one of the many reasons I'd like my money somewhere else thanks.)

LOL! I probably can't blame them for it considering the fact that I do that with my own money and the multiple accounts that I have, I ping it around to various accounts depending on interest rates, which is why my current account balance is always around £100 or lower the day after payday since it has 0% interest rate.
