Date: 2018-12-03 10:28 am (UTC)Now I need to phone my Canadian bank and figure out why I can't transfer from that account into another account online ... Probably to do with their extra tight security/regulations for accounts held by people living abroad, which is part of why I trust them the most, but also makes life slightly less convenient ...
Finance! *jazzhands*
Unfortunately it seems the Alberta premier's announcement of cutting oil production to raise prices is giving people confidence in CAD, so I should wait for that to blow over before moving more money there. USD will recover its improving trend in the short term, but will the pound crash again before that? It's ~so exciting~. (This kind of anxiety is precisely why I don't gamble...)
