Pleased to Beet You

As mentioned previously, my favourite local pub has been fulfilling grocery orders from their food suppliers. I was running out of veg, so I put in an order a couple of days ago. This included beetroot (3).

I have, today, received beetroot (3kg).

It's a good thing I really, really like beets, but even so this may be something of a challenge ...

I recall an anecdote about somebody’s dad having the opposite problem— he tried to order three lbs of beans from a grocery site and received three individual beans.

Bottling time! Or try a barter mentality and see if any neighbours want to trade beets for something else? Also there are delicious cakes made with beetroot, I hear. :)
