I sure know how to make constructive use of my time...

Loyalty was a great thing, but no lieutenants should be forced to choose between their leader and a circus with elephants.

Good Omens, pg 294

Mowett has MAJOR silhouette issues. Maybe someday I'll fix them. I also meant to put an elephant in but it wasn't working and my bum was getting sore from sitting at the computer so long, so that'll have to wait as well.

Good grief, it's ugly, but less ugly than the 4:00 version:

All Voldemort wants is a hug. Maybe that's how to defeat him. It worked on the Phantom. (Well, okay, that was a kiss, but ... nevermind.)

Because the elephant was pink and there's enough blue in the picture already.

Aw fun!
I like the way your brain works- it creates some of the most hilarious stuff (well actually you, and not your bodiless brain does... but whatever... it comes up with it.)

Date: 2005-08-15 04:22 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] twirlynoodle.livejournal.com
Naw, I'm pretty sure it's all my brain's doing ... my gastrointestinal tract has little to do, creatively, nor do my bones or lungs or knees or anything else.

Date: 2005-08-15 05:39 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] canisdoofus.livejournal.com
If you REALLY want to get technical, your whole body has everything to do with creative output. :-P

Your brain controls the bones, tendons, and muscles in your hand (whichever hand that may be), and the brain cannot function without the fuel absorbed by the GI tract (yum!), or the oxygen dispursed by your lungs.

I guess if you are still in posession of your appendix, that little guy might not have anything to do with these lovely pictures that make my day worthwhile!

And of course, the elephant just HAD to be Pink, because that IS the color elephants are! *Sigh* I wish people still dressed like that in carnival-type functions. :-(

That's really cute

I'm too much of a Bonapartist to become a REAL fan, but no doubt they're good books/movies!

BTW, Tealin, it's funny you should post something M&C-related today, as the 15th of August also happens to be Boney's Birthday (he would be 234). :-D

"... he would be 234."

He's obviously showing a lack of initiative and willpower. Reg Shoe would be so disappointed. He'd expect better from someone who tried to take over the world.

I think that Harry's been listening to Dumbledore's "Cornucopia of Love" theory a bit too long. Either that, or Tealin has. :)

I WANT THAT PINK ELEPHANT.

Such is the power of love blah blah blah.

Heeyy . . . if someone kissed Voldemort, would he melt?

Because that would have to be one of the most satisfying endings ever. xD

I've had a silly idea passing through my mind...say Harry, in the Final Battle, falls into the Room o'Love and gets super-saturated with it...and starts chasing a horrified Voldemort around like Pepe le Pew? "Come out, come out, my little Dark Lord! I am looking for you where you are hiding!" (all in a hokey French accent) And when he finds the Big V...."Ah, at last I have you where I want you and where you want to be, *smooch smooch smooch* my passionate little love-bundle! Let me look deep into your pretty red eyes!" Meanwhile, Voldemort, who found out already that his spells are bouncing off Harry-the-Lover, is struggling to get free, yelling to his Death Eaters for help...but they, along with the Aurors, Dumbledore's Army, and everybody else, are rolling on the floor, laughing so hard they couldn't cast spells to save their lives.

Or...how about Harry being saturated with Love...and becoming Hippy Harry? "Like, wow, man, this 'Dark Lord' trip's a real drag, man. Here, have a flower. Groovy! Peace! Far out!" And since Voldemort is of the generation before the hippies, he's reacting like Count Dracula to communion wafers and hot-cross buns. "Eww! You're disgusting! Go take a bath and cut your hair! And no, I do not want to 'turn on, tune in and drop out!"

Well, this would be an interesting ending, wouldn't it? ^^
Voldemort melting like ice cream in the sun would also be an interesting possibility... But if Harry would kiss Voldemort this would sure be censored in the films... because children are watching! *lol*

None of the original fans will be young, but if it appealed to kids in 1999, it'll appeal to kids in 2007 ... The original fans of Narnia are not the only ones going to the movie this Christmas.

I'm sure I used to be better at working things out quickly. I think school is causing my sanity to deteriorate. Mowett is presumably a lieutantant on board the Surprise (or some other M&C ship)? I really must find a DVD of that, for I love swashbucklers so.

All you need is love... (do do do do do)

Yup. Second Lieutenant on the Surprise. It is a most swahbuckling movie, and much more besides.

I don't know how the officers of the _Surprise_ would react to a circus.

"No, no, NO! You can _not_ press him into the Royal Navy! He's a _gorilla!"
