BBC Quote for today:
HOST: How else might fog intimidate us?
SPECIALIST: Well, you've heard the expression 'I couldn't see my hand in front of my face'...
HOST: Mm.
SPECIALIST: Scary enough in itself, but, you know, when the fog suddenly clears – Daaah! The hand!
I love Radio 9.

Not Les Mis! Back to Pratchett this time.
Dr Lawn - from Night Watch. I am SO stealing this design from somewhere, but where?! The only place I can think of is the guy who files the coin in M&C, but his face isn't this long... Anyway, I think I'm going to make him wiping off some terrifying instrument, but here he is for now.
Polly - Heheh, she kinda looks like a teenage Blakeney. Um.
Tonker - I'm pretty sure this was Tonker (despite the filename – I was mistaken) ... I drew this, actually, a few months ago, with the intent of including Lofty, but Lofty turned out to be impossible to draw.

This reminds me of that great Calvin and Hobbes strip about β€œThe Disembodied Hand That Strangled People.”

Intimidating fog and re-appearing hands are frighteningly funny, and I'm not sure why.

It's funny, I was just reading Night Watch to my sister today, and I was wondering when you might draw something else from that book. ^_^ And what do I find? *is thrilled* Ah, Dr Lawn, who doesn't know why he even owns a bed. *g* He, it's great; he just radiates that tired sarcasm.

Hmm.... I think Dr. Lawn looks a little bit like James from the Forsythe Saga. Seen it?

Hmm... Howabout your Lawn is the mouse from The Rescuers Down Under, who calls the meeting to order.
That's who he reminded me of, anyway.

HAHAHA oh man, I have to listen to the BBC more. Clearly, it's got some awesome going on that I need to know first-hand.

Dr. Lawn has the most amazing side burns? mutton chops? ear tails? that I have ever seen. Next time you must draw him with the syringe of DOOOOOOM.

Polly has a stiff bottom lip (ha ha my cleverness)!
