The Bonus Features it is Packed With sound pretty blah, though. A sing-along? Puh-leez! I can sing along with the movie thank you very much. I'm holding out for widescreen.

Of course you know, the only reason they're coming out with this is because you just bought it. ; )

I know, it's Disney's mission to taunt you with better versions of things just after you get the boring version.

Although, "better" might be debatable; a sing-along sounds pretty lame, unless they've got some sort of Amazing Never Before Seen Tim Curry Moment.

The Christmas Carol DVD gets on-the-set gags and similar funny things. I feel neglected in my nautical favouritism.

Totally unfair.

When those next POTC movies come out, people will remember how cool the age of sail was. It's our duty as nautical geeks to use movies created to showcase Johnny Depp as vehicles for our obsession.

Not to change the topic or anything, but having noticed that you've been listening to Radio 4, I thought I'd check and make sure you're not missing A) Just a Minute or B)The Masterson Inheritance. Do let us know, love.

Oh, I haven't been missing Just A Minute (not voluntarily, anyway) but I haven't heard the Masterton Inheritance ... is it on during North American work hours? I'll have to check out the archives....

Dunno.. I haven't been listening to any of them during their original broadcasts. I just use the archivey thing and select the "comedy & quizzes" thingy.

Goodness, Just a Minute is fantastic. What a brilliant show. I love the BBC, what with its sans-commercial, play-it-when-you-wannit sort of format.

Oh, sorry - Masterson Inheritance may be on BBC 7. 7 also plays old episodes of Just a Minute, too.

Honestly, I have no idea how the panelists on Just a Minute do it ... their brains must be on fire. AND they're funny.

If only they kept their shows online a little longer, or had some Old Show Depository ... I haven't been able to find a way to listen to the episodes of The Department I missed before I found out about it, and somehow the last one slipped between my fingers. [sigh]

Ew, he's older than my mum! :D And Miss Piggy's still running after him.
Good thing he hasn't aged a bit: a wrinkly kermit isn't a very nice mental picture, with his saggy stuffing waggling about when he does his patented arm-flail ^_^

Golly, he's older than my dad!

. . . you know, I don't think I've ever seen that movie. Like, all of it. :O
