*Because hours are traditionally measured on clocks, and most clocks can be found on walls.

Yes, it's been out in the States for a while. The British/Canadian cover TOTALLY ROCKS. But it's Paul Kidby, so ... go fig.

No, none of them say Discworld. Discworld is just where they are all set; it's a unifying thread in what might otherwise be a bunch of disconnected novels and thereby serves as a handy name for the series as a whole. It could also be called The Humourous, Satirical, and Often Slightly Surreal Fantasy Series but that's just uneconomical.

I believe the Tiffany Aching books have the subtitle 'A Story of Discworld' but that's because they're sort of a side-series, being more YA than the rest of them.

Huh, must be a new edition. Though, if memory serves, there's something like 'The 25th Discworld Novel!' on my copy of The Truth...

I must say I quite like the new covers from Corgi. They're nice and understated; they aren't a blaze of bright colours like HarperCollins' paperbacks nor are they a mass of writhing dough which is all I see whenever I look at a Josh Kirby cover. The Corgi ones also have the number in the series very discreetly emblazoned on the back (glossy black on matte black, or vice versa) as if that mattered. It's interesting, at any rate.
