What's this, drawings?

As seen in Thud! and The Fifth Elephant (but not as scary in the latter):

Somehow they find a way of being frightening fundamentalists without actually being religious... clever, that.

I just realised that I've probably based my image of the Dark Dwarfs on those sand people from Star Wars, which is something, as I haven't seen that movie more than five times and that was ages ago.

Date: 2005-10-21 11:41 pm (UTC)Interestingly enough, I didn't notice the resemblance to the KKK until I saw the colored one. Then again, I generally don't notice words that are written larger than the surrounding text which leads to some confusion when reading warning sign. (IE, I completely missed the giant "DO NOT" and thought the sign said "Let Your Children Play On The Rolling Stool" which I thought was a rather odd sign to have up in a doctor's office.)
