I am alive! 1000 miles in one day ain't bad.

Good things: Now I have oxygen and my very own rickety loft bed

Bad things: Nobody watered my fern while was gone and I suspect it has kicked the proverbial bucket. It's droopy and curled over... Alas, poor fern, wot I saved from annihilation lo these many years ago...

So, yeah. Alive. Good thing to be. I'll be scanning stuff after I've eaten something....

I suspect my roommate was personally involved with the demise of said fern. She's always commenting on how ugly it is. Well, it's a wild fern - maybe the rhizomes will be revived by my watering it and it can be salvaged... Though it is a rain forest fern so it's probably not drought-tolerant like bracken. *sigh*
