Next in our series of Really Obscure and Absurd Crossovers:

Sean Biggerstaff, who plays Oliver Wood in the HP movies in which that character appears, and who apparently has a large fan base, also played Chris in Shada. Chris has one of the cornier lines in the script, in which he and a horde of freshly synthesized rock creatures go about doing the will of their master and chanting 'universal mind' over and over, zombie-like, so it follows that Wood could be pictured doing the same.

I tried caricaturing Mr Biggerstaff (whose name Ubiquitouspitt finds highly amusing and therefore is the only reason I remember it) but he's got such a darn average face ... Not average in that he looks like everybody else, but average in that if you took the facial features of everyone of Caucasian descent and found the median, it would be him. Not much to go on. Oh well.

And now, an alphabet song for a new century:

Let's start at the very beginning
A very good place to start.
When you read, you begin with ay bee cee,
When you type you begin with oh em gee.
(Oh em gee!)
The first few letters are easy, you see?
Oh em gee! (oh em gee!)
Oh em gee dou-ble-you tee eff!

if you took the facial features of everyone of Caucasian descent and found the median, it would be him

that's probably the explanation for why he's so appealing. :)
and i can imagine the "universal mind" thing happening to Wood too, so i found the caricature quite funny.

The problem is that you may not be able to tell if Wood's mind was sucked out...

Considering the bludger he apparently took to his head in his first game ever, its not hard to believe.

My dad knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows Sean Biggerstaff's mum. How's that for an obscure connection?

Ahahaha! Oh the song! THE SONG!! Brilliant :) (I just did a musical performance with a bunch of kids and everytime someone asked them to sing "just something..." they'd launch into full-staged performances of this song, only with the original lyrics).

BTW, I love the look on the girl's face in the background :)

I think the first feature you notice with Sean Biggerstaff is his dead serious expression. Which is why Manic Wood is so funny.

And it IS a funny name, if you have a semi dirty mind. (Like I do)

Obscure crossovers are the best. Oliver acting like a zombie amuses me greatly for some reason. He was a good gag character. :)
My friend and I have created a Silence of the Lambs/Remains of the Day (by Kazuo Ishiguro) crossover gag recently because Anthony Hopkins plays both leads characters in the films. Now THAT'S obscure XD

The ending song is genius, and made even funnier by that fact that our school production this year was Sound of Music; where Maria was played by a female stoner with combat boots and several ear piercings. ^^;

Ah, I know this is totally the WRONG place to post this, but I cant think of anywhere else to put it.:)
Do you do fanart for a Series of Unfortunate Events? I love the stuff you do with HP, and all the SOUE fanart out there is absolute rubbish.

*crosses fingers*

And I love Angelina and Harry in the background. :D

Yes, you can find it in the Terra Extra Harry Potter section accessible further down the HP art page. I don't trust myself to remember the url off the top of my head.
