Susan proved to be a lot more difficult ... I'll have to look up some photo reference for her.

And I always think your doodles of real people look strikingly similar to them already. You've already got a really good foundation for caricature work :)

You've only ever seen the ones that were successful enough to scan ... my sketchbooks are strewn with hopeless attempts at Merry and Pippin.

So they should be easy to caricature, right? I mean, it's incredibly normal[bland]-looking people like Sean Biggerstaff who are hard. At least that was my thinking at the time. Start with the most distinctive faces ... I need to go back and try them again.
