END OF THE YEAR BLOWOUT!!

So, I've got two days left in the year and about ten pages left in my sketchbook. I really want to put it to bed with the turn of the year, but am running low on inspiration, so here's the deal:

I will draw anything you want.

Okay, okay, not anything – it'll take a darn good argument to get me to venture into kissy stuff and I'm still against drawing from fanfic – but I invite everyone to post a comment with a request of something to draw and I will do my level best to draw everything that's suggested, and no matter how horribly it turns out, I will scan and post it all. The deadline is ... hmm, let's say Dec. 31, 20:00 (8pm) GMT.

Um ... okay, here's how it's going to go: I will draw and draw until I hit the end of my sketchbook. I might keep drawing into the new one, but my deadline will evaporate and my free time will diminish rapidly after January 1, so who can say? Keep suggesting things, though (if you haven't already), because I'm going in the order of inspiration and what will fit on the page rather than first come, first served.

How about a picture of the trio, Ginny, the twins, Bill and Fleur at their wedding!? Fred and George could be sticking cake in Ron's face while he tries flirting around with Hermione and Harry could be cutely* kissing Ginny!

*cutely-doesn't have to be full on making out-type-stuff, just like, kiss on the nose, forehead, side of the face... yeah....

@_@ It's like Christmas came all over again! And here I left my Potter and Pratchett books in my dorm room when I know what I want visualized if I had the chance...

Uhh... from the hospital scene in GoF: Snape pulling up his sleeve and brandishing his dark mark. Capsloc!Snape screaming "Don't call me a coward!" from HBP. A HBP-Christmas Percy covered in whatever it was the Weasleys threw at him. Aunt Petunia after Dumbledore's Howler, because I don't remember you ever drawing her. Crying-in-the-corner child!Snape from when Harry breaks into his memories. Trelawney smelling like sherry as she tries to get into the room of requirement. A very unhappy-looking Filch standing on a barge waiting for students to get on so he can ferry them across the Twins' marsh. Mrs Weasley, Ginny, and/or Hermione making a face and imitating Fleur.

The classics nerd part of me wants to see Alcibiades staggering into the Symposium announcing to Agathon, Socrates, and the rest "Hello gentlemen, I am plastered!"

How 'bout Jack Sparrow listening to Pirates of the Caribbean on his iPod or maybe Mr. Tumnus, Lucy, Edmund, Peter, and Susan all gathered around and trying to beat a level off of the Narnia game on the Game Boy Advance or any scene of Narnia. What about a scene off of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Johnny Depp in it, (who rocks by the way.) Maybe Hermione got really good on the guitar and surprises Harry and Ron. Perhaps Van Helsing could battle Dracula or maybe you could do a scene from the book And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, (you might know it as Ten Little Indians if you've read it, there the same book,)or Star Wars if you like it that is. Make up a story with the marauders in it and draw it out, like them having a big New Year Bash or something. Endless of options, heck, I'm even getting drawing ideas as I write this.

Of course, one of my favorite mental images is Death rockin' out at the end of Soul Music. That'd be fun to see...

Or... How about something Lupin III? It's a favorite cartoon of mine based on the french novelist Maurice Leblanc's 1800s action anti-hero. He's snarky and a little crude, but he's not too far off from Maturin, visually. (Personally, but I'm weird like that.)

Paul Kidby's taken care of the Death 'Family Portrait' as well as Death rockin' out (they're in the Art of Discworld)... I'd always wanted to draw that but never could, then I saw his and, well, nothing could be better.

I do like Lupin III, though. Or, well... The Castle of Cagliostro, which is the only take on it I've seen.
