END OF THE YEAR BLOWOUT!!
Dec. 29th, 2005 05:20 pmSo, I've got two days left in the year and about ten pages left in my sketchbook. I really want to put it to bed with the turn of the year, but am running low on inspiration, so here's the deal:
I will draw anything you want.
Okay, okay, not anything – it'll take a darn good argument to get me to venture into kissy stuff and I'm still against drawing from fanfic – but I invite everyone to post a comment with a request of something to draw and I will do my level best to draw everything that's suggested, and no matter how horribly it turns out, I will scan and post it all. The deadline is ... hmm, let's say Dec. 31, 20:00 (8pm) GMT.
10:28 pm
Whoa... Okay, one suggestion each, people! And, uh ... I'll work on it. [bewildred]
Dec. 30, 10:11 pm
Um ... okay, here's how it's going to go: I will draw and draw until I hit the end of my sketchbook. I might keep drawing into the new one, but my deadline will evaporate and my free time will diminish rapidly after January 1, so who can say? Keep suggesting things, though (if you haven't already), because I'm going in the order of inspiration and what will fit on the page rather than first come, first served.

That's it! The deadline is upon us. Thanks very much for the overwhelming avalanche of requests... I'll try to do as many of them as I can.

Date: 2005-12-30 01:34 am (UTC)I wonder if you'd be willing to draw an Ent?
I always thought that human trees could look so much cooler than they did in the LOTR movies. I would completely trust you to do a better job. Would that be something you'd be willing to draw?\

Date: 2005-12-30 01:37 am (UTC)DISCWORLD: Anything Sam Vimes or Granny Weatherwax. Ooh, or Moist Von Lipwig! You're the only person I've ever come across who actually DRAWS him! :D
HARRY POTTER: Snape, natch.
Hmmm, would you consider drawing some LOST characters? I'm very partial to Sawyer, but I've always wanted to see the main characters of that show cartoon-ised. :D

Date: 2005-12-30 01:48 am (UTC)If you've read Mervyn Peake's Gormenghast books at any point, I'd love to see you draw Steerpike. Failing that, I'll take Stephen Maturin dissecting something (in his naturalist, rather than surgical, capacity).

Date: 2005-12-30 02:20 am (UTC)Let's see...what about the HP trio as bank robbers? With pistols and sacks full of money and black gloves and get-away cars and security guards and terrified customers and alarm bells and $20 bills flying everywhere?
Or just the trio as bank robbers. Whatever you can get out of that, y'know.
Cheers!
