My, what a lovely peaceful evening of scanning I had...

Page 7 - Hagrid shows off his zoological collection to Dr Maturin as requested by veronikamg, Romilda Vane for those who wanted her, and a drawing of Moaning Myrtle slightly modified from needtoflyaway's suggestion to have her looking 'freakishly' at the egg – here she is looking freaky at the egg.

Page 8 - bananabasket on his spinny cup, shadow_woods's big stuffed monkey (ape, here, actually), and the sketch of James being yelled at by Lily (or possibly his sister, or Hermione's mother ... what a bland face) originally suggested by morbidbunny and seconded by a number of other people.

Page 9 - Older Harry playing Quidditch for black_nightdress, Luna looking like a Ken Duncan character for linvalien, and someone's request for an Order of the Phoenix emblem to counter the Dark Mark ... Unfortunately it seems to be heavily based on that red dragon/phoenix thingy used in the insignia of the bad guys in Hellboy. Er.

Page 10 - The Luggage from The Last Continent for bellatella (for some reason I've always pictured it with Minnie Mouse feet in this scene), Nobby (whose design I'm still not happy with) on the 'Hogfather's' knee for naturalblue208, and Harry with a tattoo of a Hungarian Horntail on his chest. (Harry! Put some clothes on!)

Page 11 - I took some liberties with kaflower's request for Harry chasing Snape, and then there's Fenrir Greyback for linda_lupos, though really if you want to see Fenrir you should look at Makani's because hers is the definitive Mad Werewolf Man whereas mine is but a pale imitation. So pale as to be nearly albino.

Page 12 - Moist riding Boris the Mad Wonderhorse to Sto Lat for (appropriately enough) thefordmustang.

One more batch to go ... check back tomorrow, if all goes well.

Ha ha

I don't know how you draw so small...

I bet it saves a lot of paper, though. All of my drawings take up an entire page...bit wasteful, actually...

These rock, as well. My favorite is Lily yelling at James...

Hah, I draw a lot bigger than I used to ... I need to work on the size. Big is good; your drawings are looser and there's more room for error before a misplaced line makes a difference.

*snogs you* PICTURES! PICTURES! :D:D:D:D

(And your Romilda Vane totally looks almost like me. I knew it was canon. Boo-yeah.)

Severus looks like he's wearing 4" heels!!! XP Nice to see him smiling for a change, though! :D

Your Fenrir's still better than mine, though he reminds me more of a Norse deity (Loki, perhaps) than a werewolf. Maybe the moon just looks like this on this ( on the given night you drew his portriat.

LOL! That luggage looks like an Imelda Marcos relic! But the best of the bunch is definitely Harry's horntail tatoo! I ADORE IT! Even if Romilda DOES look like my ex's fiancee -- slight lazy eye and everything!

Nobby on the Hogfather's knee is the best!!! I love that scene, and I love how you drew Death. :) Very awesome. I know that Nobby is supposed to be so knobby and pussy that he isn't quite recognizable as a human, but your drawing actually looks quite like my mental image of him. So well done anyways!

You are so great with movement! And as for Harry with the Hungarian Horntail...I would hug you if I could. Haha, I bet Ron and his Pygmy Puff are mighty jealous!

But I think my favorite is James getting yelled at. That boy could use a good scolding :)

Maybe...maybe not! The fat lady hasn't sung yet! Besides, that could be his birthday present he's carrying off (he turns 46 on Monday) XP

Hmmmmmmmmm

Oh, I love all of these too. I hope Dumbledore doesn't insist all the OotP members burn tattoos onto their wrists. Although that would be a side of Dumbledore we hadn't seen before.

Ha, you can just tell James is going, "Is that my wife? I always imagined her prettier than that." And Lily saing, "Well freakin' deal with it, buddy! JKR put her foot down at making Ginny pretty!"

And I love Harry and Horntail. Yes, Harry, you should be putting some clothes on...in a minute...once I've had a good, lo-o-ong look.

Ahhh

I love poor Moist... I'm not sure if he's wincing in agony from the ride, or just afraid to watch where Boris is heading, either way, it works!

...that scene in the third movie where Harry has his heart torn out on the Aztec step-pyramid.

Yeah, I was surprised they left that in, actually ... I mean, they take out the Firebolt, but they leave in the ritual diemboweling? Looks like they're going just for shock value, I'd say.

Harry Potter???

Thanks so much for doing this! I love it, and you do draw horses nicely! Boris looks like a killer. Moist looks great- kind of a mixture of being to scared to look at the warp speed view or discovering that Boris is a good ride once you get past the pineapple (which is the hard part). Reminds me of some of the stupid stunts I have pulled riding horses bareback. And, yea! It looks to me like you also got Moist riding as ge was in the book- without a true saddle but a tied blanket and his feet wedged in the belly band. I love the wing-ed cap, too!

All in all, great job! I hope this is one you can expand on and add to your website collection!

(Going Postal seems to be taking off on a lot of books and films such as "The Sting", but some part of it really remind me of that science fiction film with Kevin Costner, "The Postman". I hated that movie, so Going Postal was a great send up of it. This scene was sure one that would have made the Costner movie more likeable :-)
