Do you think the book will translate well to film? How will they capture the quirky narration, and the Pratchettian footnotes?

I'm sure they'll translate fine ... you'll lose the charm of the narration and the footnotes, of course, but the plot is solid and the dialogue is just as clever as the narration, and the characters are well-established, so it ought to be fine.
