Prompted by an email I recieved which asked me how I pictured Lupin in the fifth and sixth books, I have illustrated every scene in which he appears with TWO easy sketches!

Lupin Scene Type A: Exposing Relevant Background Information (okay, okay, I cheated and made the speech bubble in Photoshop, which technically I'm not supposed to do with this sketchbook thing, but I wanted it to look really artificial.)
Lupin Scene Type B: Comforting Distressed Person(s)

These drawings are ICKY. Bad. And I'd even gone to life drawing and everything.

Oh, man. Let me tell you! Makani is so awesome. I like, write to her a lot and I've probobly gotten on her nerves, but that's okay! If she hated me I would still love her drawings to death! They are AWESOME. You and her both inspired me to draw more, like, once I searched "Firebolt" in images in google just for fun, and your picture of Harry and Ron walking back from the quidditch pitch came up. And I clicked on that and at the time I was like "ANIME, ANIME" and I secretly had this passion for your "american" style art. And you got me to draw a tonnnnnn more and then you mentioned Heather, and I went there to her site and came apon even MORE gorgous drawings and I slowly morphed my style. It went from "anime" to "realistic Narnia type" and then to the style like a mix of, well, I don't know, Makani, Twirlynoodle and Narnia. I've never really thought of that like that . . but I geuss that's how it looks. Hmm . .

Darn you both to HECK! I became insanely curious about this "Makani" (took me a little while to figure out you were talking about "Butt Face" - there's another "Makani" on LJ, apparently no relation) after all this high praise you were heaping on her - I thought I could just drop in on her little site and check out a few pictures to see if...whoa! There's a TON of pictures here, so, Ok, I'll just see all the ones on this page and then...wait, there's a scroll button and...there's MORE? A LOT more?? Well, just one or two more, because I'm busy, and couldn't possibly...about 3 HOURS LATER!!! OMSHF (oh my sweet holy fudge) you were RIGHT! 19??? No way. Definite HUGE improvement in just a couple of years - wow! Don't quite understand the fetish with the "Malfoys in Love", but, hey, they're great drawings anyway! Soooo many good ones (and so many truly funny, clever jokes) - particularly liked a couple of recent Fenris Greyback pic's! (She is also clearly a LOT more comfortable working on the computer than me - well, who isn't?) all kidding aside, thanks for the tip! And I think you should both be publishing your own graphic novels, together or seperately. Why wait to work on a movie? Make your own in print! Make a fortune at Comicon! Make a deal with some big studio once it has a big following! That is all.
