Prompted by an email I recieved which asked me how I pictured Lupin in the fifth and sixth books, I have illustrated every scene in which he appears with TWO easy sketches!

Lupin Scene Type A: Exposing Relevant Background Information (okay, okay, I cheated and made the speech bubble in Photoshop, which technically I'm not supposed to do with this sketchbook thing, but I wanted it to look really artificial.)
Lupin Scene Type B: Comforting Distressed Person(s)

These drawings are ICKY. Bad. And I'd even gone to life drawing and everything.

I, as a comittee of self-proclaimed expert in your profession, award the BlOgscar for Most Self-Convincing False Modesty in a 'Blog to...(rip rip)...Oh wow, it's Twirlynoodle! (cameras zoom in on sullen woman in frumpy clothes who, unamused, tells everyone to stop clapping and insists that it wasn't an act!)
"Icky"? "Bad"? Please. Not your absolute best? Could be improved? Well, sure, but let's not get carried away.
And I read Lupin's expression as sincerely sympathetic - all these other people are smokin' crack.:) And I also hope that Lupin will be used more often and effectively in the actual narrative of the next book.
