Moments of Joy
Mar. 25th, 2006 04:52 pmWhat strange fancy posessed me to actually look up the Decemberists' website? Why didn't I think of it before? (Duh!)
My favourite part:
'The Decemberists travel exclusively by Dr. Herring's Brand® Dirigible Balloons.'
See for yourself! (The site, not the balloons)

I have listened to a few samples of their music. I need to listen to a few more but so far I like it. It might be nice when I order the Dar Williams CD from Amazon to also add a Decemberist CD to the mail order and just get to know them more over time. They do remind me a bit of the heavy metal Bluegrass group Nickel Creek, and I consider that a compliment since Nickel Creek is one of my fave groups.
My two cents

Date: 2006-03-26 07:29 pm (UTC)Go rave about GBS on your own blog. :P
The phrase I never thought I'd hear from you . . .
Date: 2006-03-26 07:47 pm (UTC)BTW, I introduced disneyboy to GBS, and he says he's going to buy some CDs. I'd push 'em on my blog, BUT NOBODY READS IT. Or at least nobody leaves comments. *cough*
Irony check . . . "blog" is not recognized by LJ's spell checker.
