Whenever I'm feeling frazzled or distressed, I reach for a steaming mug of Shipping Forecast cocoa and everything's OK.

I have to admit I've never really listened to Radio 4 properly - and certainly not the Shipping Forecast - I'll have to stay up late to hear it one of these days...nights. I'm more or a BBC Radio 2 person myself - Steve Wright in the afternoon - that's my happy place. All the 'modern' and 'young' radio stations scare me a little bit. :)

Lovely drawing, by the way. So...coochy. If that's even a word. lol.

Radio 4 is about as old fart as you can get. That's why I like it. :) Lots of documentaries and intelligent people talking seriously about things. Except for the comedies, of course.

They always do plays don't they? And the 'Book at Bedtime' and that sort of thing? Or is that Radio 3? Is there even a Radio 3? And what does it do?!
x.

Yeah, they have lots of plays, as well as Book At Bedtime, Afternoon Reading, and Book of the Week ... I can never keep track of what's on what. And then there's all that Woman's Hour stuff, blargh. That's what the Radio Player is for; you can pick and choose what you want to listen to.

Radio 3, as far as I know, is mostly classical music and related paraphernalia.
