Date: 2006-07-07 06:53 pm (UTC)There was a wonderful programme on BBC4 last night: 'How to be 18th Century' It was like, a spoof acting advice thing about how to be... well, 18th Century. The phrase 'heaving bosom' was used. And much hilarity derived from mobcaps.
