I still don't get Captain Jack.* Go away, annoying man. Take your leather pants and get your own show. (oh wait...)

Still don't get Rose, really, for that matter ... but I got used to her.

*Of which there seem to be as many as there are characters named Spike...

I don't get Rose either. She's too much of a "sci-fi girl looking for trouble". She treats her boyfriend like poo, and she's really abrasive. (And her mother, whoa...)

I agree... Christopher Eccleston was great.
